Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day organic social execution across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, and emerging platforms
- Plan, create, capture, edit, and publish content from reactive posts to planned campaign moments in the brand's voice
- Manage the content calendar and posting cadence, staying on top of platform trends and culturally relevant moments
- Build and nurture community reply to comments and DMs, engage with followers and creators, monitor brand mentions
- Grow followers and engagement with the right audience through content that earns attention, not just impressions
- Identify and engage micro-influencers and community voices who naturally align with the brand
- Support new product launches with organic social plans, launch content, and post-launch performance reporting
- Own brand events and activations from concept through on-site execution and post-event content
- Support PR efforts including media kits, brand assets, and amplifying earned coverage
- Track and report on follower growth, engagement, and content performance; use data to inform the next move
Qualifications
- Recent graduate to 2 years of experience internships, campus media, freelance, and content work all count
- Deep, native fluency across social platforms you are an active user, not just an observer
- Hands-on content creation experience: short-form video, social copy, and basic graphic design
- Portfolio, personal account, or links to your work strongly preferred
- Familiarity with CapCut, Adobe Express, Canva, Figma, or similar tools
- Strong written voice you know the difference between social copy and a press release
- Sharp visual eye you know what a good photo or video looks like and you have an opinion about it
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable owning deadlines across multiple workstreams
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or related field or equivalent practical experience
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
