Social Media & Community Marketing Intern (Legal / Personal Injury)

Are you creative, outgoing, and interested in storytelling through social media, video, and photography? We are looking for a Social Media & Community Marketing Intern to help grow the public presence of a respected personal injury law firm.

Our firm is led by Deena Buchanan, President and CEO, who is the only woman in New Mexico board-certified in trucking law and just the sixth woman in the United States to achieve this certification. Our work focuses on helping individuals and families affected by serious injuries and semi-truck crashes.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on marketing experience while supporting meaningful legal work that impacts real people in our community.

What You’ll Do

• Create and manage content for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, and other social platforms
• Capture video and photography for social media and marketing campaigns
• Attend community events, networking opportunities, and outreach activities with the firm
• Assist with short-form video content and storytelling
• Help build awareness around truck safety, injury law, and community advocacy
• Collaborate on creative campaigns that highlight the firm’s work and mission

Ideal Candidate

• Student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or related field
• Comfortable on camera and behind the camera
• Strong skills in social media, photography, or video editing
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable engaging with the public
• Interest in community engagement, storytelling, and digital media
• Experience with CapCut, Adobe, Canva, or other editing tools
• Experience managing TikTok or Instagram accounts
• Photography or videography portfolio
