About Us We are a growing portfolio of businesses based right here in Orlando, Florida. Our brands span wellness, healthcare, and education, including the established Aisha Salon, and our upcoming ventures: Aisha Physical Therapy & Chiropractic Center and the Aisha Institute of Beauty. We are looking for a creative, energetic, and highly local Social Media Assistant to be the on-the-ground voice and lens of our brands.
The Role Instead of sitting behind a desk all day, you will be on-site capturing the magic as it happens! We need a creative storyteller who can visit our locations in the Hunter's Creek/Southchase area a few days a week to take stunning before-and-after photos, film engaging video content, and keep our community engaged. Additionally, we are looking for someone who can help support our broader digital footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Capture: Visit our locations 2-3 days a week to take high-quality before-and-after photos and film behind-the-scenes video content.
- Short-Form Video: Shoot and edit engaging content specifically optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Social Media Management & Listening: Post consistently, monitor comments, and manage community engagement across Facebook, Instagram, Google My Business, and Yelp.
- Content Scheduling: Utilize scheduling tools (like Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, or Meta Business Suite) to maintain a consistent calendar.
- Basic Graphic Design: Create eye-catching graphics for announcements and promotions using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Copywriting: Write catchy captions for social media posts and draft basic SEO-friendly blog posts for our websites.
Bonus Skills (Highly Preferred, but Not Required)
- Website Maintenance: Familiarity with updating and maintaining WordPress websites.
- Paid Advertising: Experience running, managing, or assisting with Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO): An understanding of local SEO principles and how to improve visibility on Google search.
Requirements
- Local Presence: Must live in or easily commute to the Hunter's Creek/Southchase area to be on-site multiple times a week.
- Visual Eye: Strong photography and videography skills (a high-quality smartphone is perfectly fine if you know how to use it!).
- Platform Native: Deep understanding of current trends on TikTok, Instagram, and other major platforms.
- Self-Starter: Reliable, punctual, and able to proactively find great content opportunities within the businesses.
- Portfolio Required: Please submit examples of your previous social media work, photography, or video editing (links to accounts you manage or a digital portfolio).
