Social Media & Content Creation Intern (Part-Time)

505 Swimming is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media & Content Creation Intern to help us grow our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok presence through engaging organic content.

This is a part-time internship designed for a college student or recent graduate interested in marketing, communications, media, content creation, or social media. The role will begin at approximately 10 hours per week, with the potential for expanded hours and responsibilities based on performance and company growth.

We are looking for someone who already has some quality experience creating content, whether through:

• previous internships
• student organizations or clubs
• freelance work
• personal content accounts
• photography/videography projects
• marketing or media experience

A portfolio or examples of past work are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit short-form content for Instagram Reels and TikTok
• Assist with filming content at swim lessons and events
• Help brainstorm creative content ideas and trends
• Write captions and assist with basic social media engagement
• Capture content that highlights swim lessons, instructors, community programs, and scholarship initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Applicant must be physically located in Albuquerque or Santa Fe, NM
• Strong familiarity with Instagram and TikTok
• Comfortable editing short-form video content
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and consistently
• Interest in social media, marketing, content creation, or branding
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Students pursuing degrees in marketing, communications, media, journalism, business, or related fields are preferred.
• A GPA of 3.0+ is strongly preferred
