Social Media Content Creator (Independent Contractor)

I am seeking a creative and driven Social Media Content Creator to manage LinkedIn content for my personal brand and my two growing distribution businesses. Rev Aquatic Partners is Vorgee's exclusive U.S. distributor, representing the leading Australian swim goggle brand out of Southern California. Proven Promotions specializes in creative branded merchandise for businesses.

This is a contractor role starting at 6 hours per week, with real potential to expand as both brands scale. The primary goal is to establish and grow my personal brand, with the ultimate aim of driving more frequent and larger business opportunities to my companies.

You will own the full content pipeline — filming, editing, and posting — with an initial goal of publishing one professional video per day on LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

• Film short-form and professional video content on-site or at relevant locations
• Edit videos optimized for LinkedIn's format and professional audience
• Write compelling captions and post content on a consistent daily schedule
• Develop content that speaks to B2B audiences — buyers, retailers, corporate clients, and industry partners
• Maintain a distinct and consistent brand voice and image across all content
• Stay current on LinkedIn trends and algorithm best practices
• Collaborate with the business owner as needed on strategy and upcoming content

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience creating and managing social media video content
• Demonstrated experience with LinkedIn content (B2B or professional audiences preferred)
• Proficiency in video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
• Reliable filming and lighting equipment (quality smartphone camera acceptable)
• Ability to organize and execute strategically minded content independently
• Self-starter who can meet a daily posting schedule with minimal oversight

Bonus Points

• Experience using social media content to grow a personal brand
• Background in sporting goods, activewear, or consumer product distribution
• Experience in branded merchandise or promotional products
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Creator tools or analytics
