Social Media Content Creator (Instagram + TikTok)

PT Salon is a Bay Area beauty staple — threading, waxing, and facials across 3 locations (Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon). We're hiring a Social Media Content Creator to come on-site 2-3 days a week and turn what happens in our chairs into scroll-stopping Reels and TikToks.

If you live on TikTok, know trending sounds before they peak, and can make a 15-second clip about a brow shape go viral — keep reading.

What you'll do:

- Shoot, edit, and post short-form content featuring our stylists, services, and clients (with consent)

- Capture the satisfying stuff: brow transformations, waxing reveals, facial glow-ups, before/afters

- Develop trend-aware hooks, sound-driven storylines, quick-cut transitions

- Post 3-5x per week per platform; batch shoots on-site

- Engage with comments and DMs in our brand voice

- Track what works (views, saves, follows, shares) and double down on it

What we're looking for:

- Portfolio of Reels/TikToks you've created (personal or client) — REQUIRED

- Strong eye for trending sounds, formats, and pacing

- Comfortable filming staff and clients in a beauty/salon setting

- iPhone-native; CapCut / InShot / similar editing proficiency

- Brings creative ideas — we don't want a 'wait for direction' person

- Reliable transportation (you'll rotate between our 3 Bay Area locations)

Bonus:

- Beauty / skincare / lifestyle niche experience

- Has grown an account from <1k to 10k+ followers

- Photography skills for occasional product/space shots

Compensation: $25-$35/hr depending on experience and portfolio. Flexible schedule (2-16 hrs/week).
