We are looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Content Creator & IT Support Specialist to join our team. This is a unique hybrid role perfect for someone who loves creating scroll-stopping content and knows their way around the backend of restaurant technology.
Duties
- Develop, curate, and manage engaging content across multiple social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. to boost brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Utilize graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite to create eye-catching visuals, infographics, and videos that align with branding strategies.
- Conduct social listening to monitor online conversations about the brand, competitors, and industry trends to inform content strategy and reputation management.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns using Facebook Advertising and other digital marketing tools to increase reach and conversions.
- Schedule and publish content efficiently using social media management platforms like Hootsuite and Buffer while analyzing performance metrics with Google Analytics and web analytics tools.
- Provide comprehensive IT support including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, maintaining network security, managing email systems, and supporting e-commerce platforms.
- Assist in website updates, optimize SEO strategies through keyword research, and ensure the smooth operation of digital marketing initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with followers, influencers, and partners through effective communication and public relations efforts.
- Support photography and video editing projects to produce high-quality multimedia content that enhances marketing campaigns.
- Manage and troubleshoot our Square POS system (daily operations, reporting, updates, and basic fixes)
- Support and maintain our self-service kiosks (hardware/software issues, updates, and smooth customer flow)
- Handle setup, menu updates, and issue resolution for third-party delivery platforms (DoorDash, GrubHub, Uber Eats)
- Provide general computer and tech support as needed (no advanced coding required)
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management, content creation, graphic design, and digital marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere Pro for video editing), and familiarity with Canva or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with social listening tools, Hootsuite or Buffer applications for scheduling posts, Facebook Advertising campaigns, Google Analytics, web analytics tools, and SEO best practices.
- Strong understanding of branding principles, public relations tactics, relationship management skills, and social media marketing techniques.
- Technical skills in IT support including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, network security protocols, email systems management (e.g., Outlook), and basic web development knowledge for e-commerce sites.
- Excellent proofreading skills with an eye for detail to ensure all content is accurate and aligned with brand voice.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
