Social Media Content Creator (Part-Time | On-Site Filming Only)

This is a part-time, paid position focused strictly on content capture (no editing required).

You’ll be responsible for filming short-form content (Reels, TikToks, etc.) for various client accounts and uploading raw footage for our editing team.

This role is ideal for someone who understands social media content, can capture engaging moments, and works well independently or in a pair.

FUNCTNL Media is a creative media and social strategy agency specializing in high-impact, visually compelling content for brands in hospitality, entertainment, and experiential spaces. We focus on storytelling that drives engagement, foot traffic, and brand identity.

We’re looking for a reliable, creative, and detail-oriented content creator to join our team and support on-site filming for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Film high-quality short-form content (Reels, TikToks, BTS, lifestyle shots)
• Capture a mix of cinematic, candid, and social-first footage
• Follow shot lists and creative direction provided by our team
• Upload all footage to Dropbox same day or by the following morning
• Maintain consistency in filming quality and brand standards
• Communicate clearly with our team regarding shoots and deliverables

Requirements:

• Must have prior content creation experience (portfolio required)
• Must provide a resume upon application
• Must submit previous work examples (via email to: info@functnlmedia.com)
• Must have your own equipment OR a phone capable of shooting high-quality video (iPhone 16+ quality or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of social media content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, trends, framing, etc.)
• Ability to follow direction while also capturing creative moments independently
• Reliable, punctual, and organized

Schedule & Pay:

• 1–2 filming days per week, occasional on call shoots requested
• Flexible scheduling based on shoot calendar
• Paid position (rate discussed based on experience)
• Opportunity for pay growth as you take on more shoots and as FUNCTNL Media continues to expand its client roster

• Strong eye for lighting, angles, and movement
• Efficient and dependable (this is huge for us)
• Comfortable filming in public, nightlife, and event environments
• Bonus if you understand viral content structure or current trends

Pay: From $125.00 per hour
