About LoCo Tri

LoCo Tri is a multisport specialty retail store in Leesburg, VA, serving swimmers, cyclists, runners, and triathletes. We're located at mile marker 34 on the W&OD Trail — right in the middle of the community we serve. Our social media presence is an extension of that community, and we're looking for someone who can help us show it.

The Role

This is a part-time, in-person content creation role. You'll be responsible for capturing photo and video content for our social media channels and producing user-generated content (UGC) that feels authentic to the endurance sports lifestyle. Strategy, captions, and scheduling are handled by our social media manager — your job is to show up ready to shoot and deliver polished, ready-to-post content.

This is not a remote position. You need to be available to work in and around Leesburg, along the W&OD Trail, and at local races and events in the Loudoun County area.

What You'll Be Doing

• Shooting in-store product and lifestyle content
• Capturing athlete and customer content on and around the W&OD Trail
• Covering local triathlons, cycling events, and running races as needed
• Creating UGC-style content that highlights real people using real gear in real conditions
• Delivering edited, ready-to-post photo and video files on a consistent weekly schedule
• Collaborating with our social media manager on upcoming content needs and seasonal campaigns

What We're Looking For

• A portfolio demonstrating short-form video (Reels/TikTok) and lifestyle or sports photography
• Comfortable operating your own camera equipment and editing software
• Able to deliver polished final files — not raw footage
• Experience shooting sports, fitness, or outdoor lifestyle content is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with UGC content creation and what makes it perform on Instagram and TikTok
• You don't need to be a triathlete, but you need to understand the aesthetic and the audience

Must be local to Leesburg, Ashburn, Sterling, Purcellville, or the surrounding Loudoun County area. Candidates outside this area will not be considered.

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time, approximately 2–10 hours per week
• Hours vary based on content needs, events, and seasonal campaigns
• Weekend availability required during race season (spring and fall)
• Hourly rate or per-project rate negotiable based on experience and portfolio
