Content Creator & Production Assistant

Good Chance Creative is seeking a creative, internet-savvy Production Assistant & Content Creator to join our team in downtown Bellingham. This role is perfect for someone who is deeply online, obsessed with TikTok and Instagram, confident in front of the camera, and excited by fast-paced creative work.

We’re a social media agency creating content and managing accounts for lifestyle, food & beverage, wellness, wine, and consumer brands. We also operate out of The Bellingham Studio, a natural light photo studio and workshop space in downtown Bellingham.

We’re looking for someone highly self-driven, organized, creative, and adaptable who can jump between content creation, shoot production, social media engagement, and studio support seamlessly.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist on client photo and video shoots as an extra set of hands, production assistant, and occasional model/on-camera personality.
  • Create, shoot, edit, and publish engaging TikTok and Instagram content for client accounts.
  • Stay on top of social media trends, viral formats, trending sounds, and internet culture, bringing fresh ideas to the team regularly.
  • Participate in content ideation and brainstorming (“see a trend? let’s shoot it.”)
  • Help keep client social accounts active through community engagement, replying to DMs, commenting, and fostering online communities.
  • Set up and break down shoots, organize props, prep products, and assist with general production tasks.
  • Run shoot-day errands including grocery runs, coffee/lunch pickups, prop sourcing, and supply pickups.
  • Keep the studio space clean, organized, stocked, and client inventory managed.
  • Coordinate weekend studio bookings as needed and occasionally assist clients accessing the space.
  • Help source and coordinate models, props, wardrobe, and shoot logistics as needed.
  • Travel to local shoot locations for client projects when needed.

  • Enjoy both the glamorous parts of shoots and the behind-the-scenes tasks that keep productions running smoothly.
  • Have experience creating short-form video content (personal or professional accounts both count).
  • Have basic photo/video editing skills using apps like CapCut or Canva.
  • Are comfortable interacting with clients, communicating online as a brand persona, and representing the Good Chance Creative client brands professionally.

Schedule & Hours

This is a flexible part-time position averaging 15–25 hours per week. Hours typically range from 3–5+ hours daily Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend hours for shoots or studio bookings.

We encourage flexibility and building a schedule that works well for both you and the team. Our in-studio shoot days are typically Tues & Weds, and remote work opportunities exist for all days outside of those.
