Job Title: Manager - Social Media & Content Development

Position Summary
The Manager of Social Media & Content Development is a key leader responsible for crafting and executing the overall social media strategy and content ecosystem. This role blends creative vision with analytical rigor to build brand awareness, foster meaningful engagement, and support business objectives. You will lead a team (or work cross-functionally) to produce high-impact content across all platforms, from ideation to publication and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive, integrated social media and content strategy aligned with marketing and business goals.
- Define the brand’s voice, tone, and content pillars across all channels.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content creators, social media specialists, and/or external agencies.
- Manage the content and social media budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Stay ahead of digital trends, platform updates, and competitor strategies to keep the brand at the forefront.
2. Content Development & Management:
- Lead the creation of a diverse, multi-format content calendar (e.g., videos, graphics, blogs, articles, podcasts, stories, newsletters).
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and optimized for user experience.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and editorial planning.
- Lead PR activities and content development as per brand’s requirement
- Manage content production workflows from ideation, creation, and approval to distribution and amplification.
3. Social Media Management:
- Own the strategy and daily management of all primary social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube).
- Develop platform-specific strategies to maximize reach and engagement for each unique audience.
- Foster and grow an active, loyal online community; manage engagement and social customer care in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Plan and execute paid social campaigns to amplify content and achieve specific KPIs (traffic, leads, conversions).
4. Analytics, Reporting & Optimization:
- Establish and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as engagement rate, reach, follower growth, website traffic, and conversion metrics.
- Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, native platform insights, social listening tools) to generate regular reports, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Continuously test, analyze, and refine strategies based on performance data.
5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Service teams to ensure content supports broader campaigns and initiatives.
- Partner with Creative/Design and Video teams to brief and produce high-quality assets.
- Identify and manage relationships with influencers, creators, and brand advocates.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in social media management and content strategy, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- A robust portfolio showcasing successful social campaigns and diverse content creation.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of all major social media platforms, their best practices, and analytics tools.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with social media reporting and insights.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), social scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite), and basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs225,000.00 per month
