Social Media Content Editor

Overview:

Stein Media is a new, fast growing content production agency that puts creativity first. We create engaging, story driven, content for brands and SMBs. Our focus is on short form content for social media platforms. As a creative editor, you’ll be responsible for taking raw footage and turning it into highly engaging social media content. Sometimes you’ll have a script or storyboard to guide you, but other times it’s all about your creativity. Taking the clips and finding the story. You’ll handle the full editing process. This is a freelance position with flexible hours. You can work as much or as little as you’d like. We’ll agree on a set number of videos per week. Pay is per video, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position (including a lead editor position) as we scale.

Requirements:

• Skilled in Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci, or CapCut preferred.
• A creative eye for storytelling, pacing, and making content that feels native to social platforms.
• Comfortable working independently while also taking direction and feedback.

Responsibilities:

• Edit short form videos from raw footage into polished engaging content.
• Add captions, text overlays, transitions, sound effects, and visual effects as needed.
• Collaborate with the team on storyboards and scripts, or develop your own.
• Bring creativity and fresh ideas to every edit, aligning with brand voice and trends.
• Meet deadlines and consistently deliver a set number of videos each week.
