Social Media & Content Intern

We are looking for a creative and energetic intern to join LivArt Beauty Academy. In this role, you will be the "lens" of the academy, capturing our daily activities, workshops, and student makeovers. You will execute content ideas provided by the management and ensure our social media channels remain active and visually appealing.

Note: This is an execution-focused role. You will work closely under the Director/Manager, who will provide the content strategy and final approval for all posts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Video Shoot & Content Capture

• Capture high-quality behind-the-scenes (BTS) footage of beauty classes, makeup workshops, and student practice sessions.
• Shoot model makeovers and "Before & After" transformation videos.
• Course Content: Shoot detailed tutorial videos for YouTube and course content videos for our online courses.
• Ensure lighting and framing are excellent.

2. Video Editing (Reels & Shorts)

• Edit raw footage into engaging Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Sync videos with trending audio and add subtitles/captions.
• Tools: Proficiency in mobile editing apps (VN, CapCut) is MANDATORY. Knowledge of desktop software (Premiere Pro/Final Cut) is a plus but not required.

3. Graphic Design & Poster Creation

• Create visually appealing posters for new course admissions, workshops, and festival wishes.
• Design Instagram Stories and WhatsApp Status updates.
• Tools: Canva or Photoshop.

4. Social Media Handling

• Upload and schedule posts on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube after getting approval from management.
• Write basic captions and research relevant hashtags.
• Organize and archive raw content files for future use.

Requirements:

• Portfolio: Must have a portfolio or links to Instagram Reels/Graphics created by you.
• Tech Savvy: Strong knowledge of Instagram trends, transitions, and audio.
• iOS Familiarity: You do not need to own a high-end smartphone. However, you must be familiar with editing on iOS (iPhone/iPad) interfaces.
• Aesthetic Sense: Ability to understand the "Beauty & Fashion" aesthetic (clean, classy, and colorful).
• Language: Basic proficiency in English and Malayalam.
