Social Media Content Producer

Location: North DFW (local applicants only)
Type: Part-time, 1099 Contractor
Pay: $2,500 per month (flat rate)

About the Role

This is a hands-on content production role, not a management or strategy position.

You will be responsible for shooting, editing, posting, and engaging daily short-form content for Goat Air, a local HVAC company known for strong personality, humor, and recurring characters (including our goat mascot).

Creative direction and campaign ideas are provided. Your job is to turn approved ideas into high-volume short-form content across multiple platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Shoot short-form video in person (office, job sites, real environments)
• Edit vertical video for:
• Instagram
• Facebook
• TikTok
• YouTube Shorts
• Write clear, platform-native captions
• Publish content consistently and on time
• Monitor and respond to comments
• Turn one approved concept into dozens of usable clips
• Organize raw footage and finished edits

What You Will NOT Be Doing

• No ad buying
• No SEO or blog content
• No content calendars full of theory
• No brainstorming meetings or pitch decks

This role is about execution and output.

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Local to North DFW and available for in-person shooting
• Must have your own computer and professional video editing software
• Comfortable filming real people in real environments (office, technicians, job sites)
• Strong short-form video editing skills
• Understands hooks, pacing, and retention
• Can take direction and execute without hand-holding
• Reliable, on time, and organized
• Comfortable engaging publicly in comments

Contractor Details

• $2,500 per month, flat rate
• Part-time commitment
• 1099 contractor
• Clear deliverables and expectations

Hiring Process

Qualified candidates will complete a paid, in-person test assignment:

• One live shoot
• One approved concept
• Goal: produce high-volume short-form content from a single session
