We make candles with attitude and we're not sorry about it. Malicious Women Candle Co. is a woman-owned, humor-forward brand distributed in 1,700+ retail stores with a loyal fanbase that actually gives a damn. We're looking for a Marketing Specialist who can take our brand and run with it: someone with real ideas, real follow-through, and a real comfort level in front of a camera.

This is a creative role with accountability built in. You'll own content creation, strategy, and execution across our social channels, collaborating with our existing marketing team. If you thrive when given creative latitude and a brand worth showing up for, keep reading.

What you'll own

• Create and post 5–7 pieces of content weekly across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and BlueSky
• Develop platform-specific strategy. You bring ideas, not just execution.
• Record, edit, and appear on camera as a face of our social accounts (required)
• Plan and write email campaigns that drive action, not just opens
• Track analytics, report results, and actually adjust based on what you find
• Manage influencer relationships and cultivate UGC
• Keep your work organized in Google Drive: SOPs, files, project plans

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of social media marketing experience with a portfolio to prove it
• Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar)
• Proficiency in Canva and comfort using AI tools to work smarter
• Genuine understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube
• Ability to take feedback, adapt quickly, and keep moving
• Self-directed: you manage your time, meet your deadlines, and don't wait to be told what to do next
• Shopify experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation and benefits

$23-24/hr (DOE) during training and brand onboarding, with a performance review and salary adjustment at 90 days.
