Job Summary:
Looking for an ambitious, self-starter, and self-motivated candidate to take the lead in the promotion and marketing of a rapidly growing summer day camp in Middletown, NJ. This is a year-round opportunity with remote options except for the summer camp season.
We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and executing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, building relationships with our audience, and monitoring social media trends. If you have a passion for social media and a knack for creating compelling content, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, Develop, and Implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms
- Manage and maintain social media accounts, including scheduling posts and responding to comments and messages
- Build and nurture relationships with influencers, partners, and followers
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments
- Conduct research on industry-related topics to create informative and relevant content
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels
- Analyze social media metrics and generate reports on performance
· Sharp eye and ability to photograph/video camp for the summer, edit and then post pictures daily
· Create end of summer montage for camp reunion
· Creative problem-solving skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Understanding of SEO techniques and best practices
· Ability to plan, organize and assist with the coordination of special events
· Create advertising campaigns targeted to camp demographic and optimize a return on investment
Skills:
- Keen eye behind the camera. Proven experience in social media management or related role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of content creation, including copywriting and graphic design principles
- Proficient in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track social media performance
- Familiarity with public relations principles and practices
- Ability to conduct research on industry trends and competitors
- Experience with social media management tools
- Knowledge of advertising strategies on social media platforms
