Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Coordinator to support Parkettes Gymnastics in increasing brand awareness, driving community engagement, sales, and highlighting athletes, classes, and events. Scope of work to include ongoing content production, channel management, customer service and analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and analytics tools to effectively manage our online presence across various channels.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation + Creative Development

○ Monthly content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok (if applicable).

○ Organic post creative leveraging existing Parkettes brand assets, including:

■ Video (short-form, reels, stories)

■ Static imagery

■ Carousel posts

■ Email blasts

○ Copywriting for all posts (in coordination with Executive Director)

○ Coordination with Parkettes staff and gather raw footage and ongoing updates. Community Management and Sales/Customer Service

Daily Responsibilities:

■ Daily platform checks across all active channels.

***** Monitor and respond to:

● Direct messages

● Comments

● Mentions and tags

■ Elevate any special inquiries to Executive Director that require special attention.

● Speak with prospects, educate and sell appropriate programs, inclusive of customer service and sales follow-up within 24 hours.

○ Repost relevant UGC or community partner content as appropriate.

○ Like, comment, and engage with parents, athletes, and local organizations.

  • Publishing + Account Management + Email blasts via mailchimp etc

○ Schedule and publish approved content.

○ Optimize posts with best practices (hashtags, tags, timing, trends).

○ Manage bios, profile updates, and story highlights.

○ Maintain a consistent content cadence (e.g., 3-5 posts/week).

  • Monthly Reporting + Analytics

○ A detailed end-of-month performance report to be delivered within 7days after the end of each month will include (but not limited to):

■ Total Posts Published

■ Impressions + Reach

■ Engagement Metrics: likes, comments, shares, saves

■ Engagement Rate

■ Follower Growth

■ Top-Performing Posts + Insights

■ Video Metrics: views, watch time, completion rates

■ Community Management Metrics: response volume, trending inquiries

■ Strategic Recommendations for next month’s content, engagement, and optimization

Skills

  • Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer.
  • Strong graphic design skills with experience in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and web analytics including Google Analytics.
  • Experience with Facebook Advertising and other paid social media campaigns.
  • Ability to create compelling content including videos, images, blog posts, and multimedia assets.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles and relationship management techniques.
  • Familiarity with social listening tools and digital marketing trends.
  • Ability to analyze data insights to optimize campaigns effectively.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
