We're building a strong community of guests and enthusiasts with the goal of becoming a household name in wellness worldwide. We're seeking a detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team and help manage our presence on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Yelp, and Facebook. This role focuses on creating professional, engaging content that strengthens connections and supports our growth. Responsibilities:
- Create elegant, community-focused content for Instagram, including Reels, Stories, and posts that highlight our wellness services, guest stories, and tips for inner peace.
- Cross-post and optimize externally sourced Reels/TikToks to YouTube Shorts for wider reach.
- Manage and grow our presence on Yelp, Facebook, and similar platforms with polished updates, engagements, and reviews to build local and global communities.
- Track wellness trends and curate a content calendar centered on mindfulness, massages, and holistic living for steady audience growth.
- Optimize content for better visibility (e.g., via captions, hashtags, and descriptions), refine posts, and provide simple reports to improve our digital strategy.
- Generate easy-to-read analytics reports showing how social efforts strengthen community ties and business growth.
- Integrate email campaigns with cross-channel promotions for consistent branding.
- Collaborate with the social media manager and team on daily tasks, projects, and ideas—great for those who thrive on feedback and adaptation.
- Maintain professionalism and handle additional duties as needed in our supportive environment.
Requirements:
- Strong passion for wellness, massages, and Serenity Zen's ethos of tranquility and balance.
- Proficiency in Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Yelp, Facebook, and the social media landscape, emphasizing community-building strategies.
- Skilled at crafting refined content with native tools, blending in subtle trends for lasting impact.
- Ability to translate marketing insights into posts that build loyalty and engagement.
- Familiarity with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere) or similar tools for photo/video editing preferred.
- Solid understanding of social media analytics to optimize and adapt for growth.
- Flexibility for shifts including days, evenings, and weekends to fit real-life balance.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple platforms and tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and/or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Wellness or massage experience valued for authentic insights.
- 1+ year in social media coordination, content creation, or editorial work preferred, but coachability and adaptability are key
