Job Description – Social Media Designer (F&B / Hospitality)

Social Media Designer at Means Design is responsible for creating high-quality and engaging visual content for social media, especially for F&B and Hospitality brands. The role ensures all designs align with client branding, campaign goals, and Means Design creative standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Social Media Design & Content Creation

• Design posts, stories, reels covers, and promotional creatives for F&B and hospitality clients
• Develop creative concepts based on client brief and campaign theme
• Ensure all visuals follow brand identity, colors, and guidelines

2. Campaign & Content Support

• Work closely with Client Servicing and Social Media team for content calendars
• Create visuals for promotions, launches, seasonal campaigns, and offers
• Adapt designs for different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)

3. Shoot Preparation & Support

• Prepare mood boards, pegs, and creative direction for food and venue shoots
• Support photoshoots and video shoots when required
• Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and stylists

4. Quality Control & Revisions

• Ensure all artworks are reviewed and approved before posting
• Apply revisions based on client and internal feedback
• Maintain consistency in design style and quality

5. File Management & Organization

• Organize design files properly based on Means Design workflow
• Maintain templates, assets, and brand files for each client

6. Trend Awareness

• Stay updated with design trends in F&B and hospitality industry
• Suggest creative ideas to improve engagement and brand presence

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or related field
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in social media or agency design
• Experience in F&B or hospitality brands is highly preferred

Required Skills

• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Basic video editing (Premiere Pro / After Effects is an advantage)
• Strong layout, typography, and color skills
• Creative, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work under deadlines

• Engagement performance of social media visuals
