Social Media, Events & PR Executive

Shift Eco is looking for a dynamic and motivated Social Media, Events & PR Executive to elevate our brand presence and community engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Shift Eco's social media platforms, creating engaging content, building our online community, and supporting our events and PR initiatives. While the focus will be on digital and external communications, the role will also provide light administrative support to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance Shift Eco's brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create, schedule, and manage daily posts across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Produce high-quality visuals, videos, and storytelling content that reflects Shift Eco’s sustainability mission.
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze insights, and adjust strategies to drive growth and engagement.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages in a timely, authentic, and professional way.
  • Stay updated on digital trends, sustainability conversations, and creative campaign ideas.

Events & PR

  • Support the planning and execution of Shift Eco events, workshops, and activations.
  • Assist with event marketing, promotion, and live coverage on social media.
  • Coordinate with partners, vendors, and media to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Contribute to PR efforts, including drafting press releases, liaising with media outlets, and supporting brand visibility initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, collaborators, and community partners.

Light Administrative Support

  • Assist with coordinating team schedules and meetings.
  • Support vendor and client communications as needed.
  • Provide organizational support for internal and external company activities.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing social media platforms, including content creation and community building.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with a flair for creative storytelling.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Experience in event coordination and/or PR is highly desirable.
  • Ability to multitask, manage timelines, and work independently.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and eco-conscious initiatives is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in social media, events, PR, or marketing roles.
  • Experience working with Brevo and Canva
  • Experience working with a sustainability-focused company or startup is a plus.
