Job Summary:

Fast-growing ecommerce brand focused on delivering exceptional products and digital shopping experiences. We are looking for a creative, data-driven Social Media SME who understands ecommerce trends and can leverage AI tools to scale content, engagement, and conversions across social platforms.

Job Description:

• Manage and grow brand presence across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube, Pinterest).
• Plan, create, and publish platform-specific content aligned with ecommerce goals (traffic, conversions, and sales).
• Use AI tools for content ideation, captions, creative, video scripting, automation, and analytics.
• Track social media performance (reach, engagement, CTR, conversions) and optimize strategies accordingly.
• Stay updated with platform algorithms, ecommerce trends, and social commerce features (Instagram Shop, Facebook Shop, etc.).
• Coordinate with performance marketing, design, and product teams for campaign launches and promotions.
• Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Engage with community through comments, DMs, and social listening tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field (or currently pursuing for interns).
• 0–2 years of experience in social media management, preferably in ecommerce or D2C brands.
• Working knowledge of AI tools for social media and marketing (ChatGPT, Canva AI, Midjourney, Hootsuite/Buffer AI, etc.).
• Understanding of social commerce, content funnels, and customer journeys.
• Strong copywriting, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
• Ability to analyse metrics and translate data into actionable insights.
• Creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and learn.
