placemaker is hiring on behalf of a leading events and exhibitions organiser based in sharjah.
this role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows how to juggle multiple accounts, and understands how social media comes to life around live events, exhibitions, and campaigns.
what you’ll be doing

develop and execute social media strategies across multiple exhibitions and projects

create engaging, high-quality content including posts, stories, and reels tailored to each platform (instagram, facebook, linkedin, x/twitter, etc.)

plan, manage, and maintain content calendars for each exhibition or project

manage and publish content across multiple social media accounts while ensuring consistency in tone and brand messaging
-
actively monitor channels, engage with audiences, and respond to comments and inquiries in a timely manner

work closely with internal teams to align social activity with event timelines, launches, and on-ground moments

track performance, spot opportunities for improvement, and optimise content accordingly

stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep content relevant and effective
what we’re looking for

bilingual (arabic & english) is essential

2–3 years of experience in social media management
-
experience within events, exhibitions, or live environments is highly preferred
-
agency background is a strong advantage

proven ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously

strong content creation skills with an eye for detail and storytelling
-
organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
