Social Media Executive
Job Summary
As a Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening the company’s online presence across various social media platforms. You will plan, create, and execute social media strategies to engage the target audience, increase brand awareness, and drive traffic to the company’s website and other digital channels. This role requires creativity, analytical thinking, and a strong understanding of social media trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and others
- Create, curate, and publish engaging and relevant content (posts, images, videos, reels, stories, etc.)
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and actively engage with followers
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools
- Optimize content based on insights, engagement metrics, and trends
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure brand consistency
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, algorithms, and best practices
- Support paid social media campaigns when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices
- Excellent written and visual communication skills
- Experience with social media analytics and scheduling tools
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing fundamentals
- Experience running paid social media ads
