Social Media Executive Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Social Community Manager to build and manage platform specific, trend led content calendars that reflect Sephora's tone of voice and deliver on key social KPIs across growth, engagement, and community performance.
- Develop inspiring, educational, and entertaining content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, etc., to amplify Sephora's editorial voice and presence.
- Ensure all content is created with both Arabic and English audiences in mind, reflecting cultural relevance across markets.
- Curate and adapt visual assets received from brands and partners, ensuring they are optimised for social use.
- Stay ahead of platform trends, tools, and innovations - continuously bringing fresh ideas to the table.
- Attend and cover events, shoots, public appearances, and conventions to create behind the scenes and real time content.
- Liaise with internal departments and brand teams to align social media content with business priorities - new launches, store openings, local moments, and seasonal campaigns.
- Manage day to day communication with social media agencies and ensure timely delivery of content and deliverables.
- Oversee community moderation across all social media platforms, ensuring quick, friendly, and professional responses that reflect Sephora's tone of voice; detect and flag potential risks.
- Monitor social sentiment, support escalations, and flag community risks.
- Regularly analyse and report on social performance, content engagement, and KPIs; assist in compiling monthly and campaign wrap up reports to inform future strategy.
- Support the team with administrative tasks such as PO/invoice processing and supplier management.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a social/digital media role; background in beauty, fashion, or retail is preferred.
- Arabic (mandatory) and English proficiency.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident working across teams and with agencies.
- Deeply social savvy - always in the loop with the latest trends, formats, and platform updates.
- Collaborative, approachable, and comfortable working across functions.
- Comfortable in fast paced environments with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly.
- Analytical - able to derive insights from data and use them to improve future content strategies.
