Position Overview

We are a growing organization looking for a self-driven Social Media Intern who will take end-to-end ownership of our social media presence. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in content planning, campaign execution, and performance analytics across all major social platforms. This role requires a balance of creativity and technical skill - someone who can conceptualize, create, shoot, edit, and publish engaging content aligned with brand strategy. This internship is ideal for candidates who want real responsibility, hands-on experience, and ownership, rather than just support work.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Plan and execute social media campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), and emerging platforms.
  • Develop monthly content calendars aligned with business goals and seasonal campaigns.
  • Manage daily posting, community engagement, and respond to comments/messages professionally.

Content Creation

  • Ideate, script, shoot, and edit videos for promotional campaigns, product demos, reels, behind-the-scenes content, and brand storytelling.
  • Design static and motion creatives (images, carousels, short clips, stories) using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ensure all content reflects the company’s brand identity, tone, and messaging consistency.

Video Production

  • Handle the entire video production process: pre-production planning, shooting, and post-production editing.
  • Operate DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, and audio gear as needed.
  • Edit raw footage using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro to produce high-quality, engaging videos.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor social media performance using analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Prepare monthly reports with insights, growth metrics, and recommendations.
  • Continuously optimize content strategy based on audience engagement and reach data.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with the design, marketing, and product teams to align social campaigns with overall marketing goals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for event coverage, product launches, and promotional shoots.
  • Stay updated with current digital trends, platform algorithm changes, and content best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Current enrollment or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, algorithms, and content formats.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of ad management on Meta, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Narhe, Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
