Social Media Intern

Society Sobriety is a fast-growing, NYC-based alcohol-free events community hosting curated experiences for young professionals. We’re looking for someone creative, organized, and outgoing to help grow our brand both online and in-person.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on role combining social media, marketing, and event support. You’ll help run our digital presence, work with brands and influencers, and be part of executing events from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow Society Sobriety’s Instagram and TikTok
• Create and post content (Reels, TikToks, stories, recaps)
• Capture content live at events (photo + video) and post in real time
• Coordinate with influencers and brand partners
• Assist with marketing campaigns and event promotion
• Help with event setup, check-in, and breakdown
• Engage with our community (DMs, comments, outreach)

Ideal Candidate

• Strong understanding of Instagram & TikTok trends
• Comfortable being on-site at events and capturing content
• Outgoing, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Interest in wellness, social experiences, or the sober-curious space
• NYC-based and available evenings/weekends
