Social Media Intern, Greensboro

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team at Uptown Cheapskate, a resale clothing store for trendy teen and young adult fashion. As a Social Media Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and assisting with various digital marketing initiatives.

This is a 3-6 month internship paid at $10.00 per hour. After the internship is over, if you are doing great work and want to continue, we are open to making it a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and plan content
• Assist in managing and monitoring social media accounts (Tiktok, FB, Instagram)
• Create and schedule social media posts to increase brand awareness and engagement following a social media calendar
• Support in video editing for promotional videos
• Build brand following
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices

Experience:

• Strong interest in social media management and digital marketing
• Knowledge of various social media platforms and their features
• Basic understanding of e-commerce and online advertising
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
