Social Media Intern (Video Editor)

Job Summary

• Edit and produce high-quality videos tailored for social media channels, including short-form videos, reels, stories, and promotional content
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize creative ideas that align with brand messaging and campaign goals
• Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Cinema 4D to craft engaging motion graphics and visual effects
• Assist in photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One, and Adobe Bridge to create captivating imagery
• Manage content workflows through content management systems and FTP platforms to ensure timely delivery of assets
• Support filming and videography efforts by setting up shots, operating cameras, and capturing footage for various projects
• Contribute to post-production processes including color correction, sound editing, and visual enhancements to ensure polished final products

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program related to film production, graphic design, multimedia arts, or a similar field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects; familiarity with Final Cut Pro is a plus
• Experience with photo editing tools like Lightroom and Capture One; knowledge of photo manipulation techniques is desirable
• Basic understanding of video production workflows including filming, editing, motion graphics, and post-production processes
• Familiarity with 3D animation software such as Maya or Cinema 4D is advantageous but not required
• Strong creative mindset with excellent attention to detail and storytelling skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
