Role Summary

We’re seeking a Social Media Manager / Content Executive who loves football and has a natural eye for capturing emotion, humour, and human stories .

You’ll be the on-ground creative driving our social media presence — filming at sessions, posting stories, managing our online community, running Meta Ads, and keeping Legends’ pages energetic and authentic.

You’ll work closely with (Head of Marketing) to plan campaigns and manage digital platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn .


Key Responsibilities 1. On-Ground Coverage
  • Capture engaging, emotional, and high-energy content from training sessions, matches, and events.
  • Post live stories and reels that highlight the passion and culture of Legends.
  • Coordinate with coaches and players to film without disrupting sessions.
2. Social Media & Community Management
  • Manage daily activity across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn .
  • Write creative captions and upload posts that reflect Legends’ tone and personality.
  • Reply to comments, DMs, and story messages to foster engagement.
  • Track key metrics (reach, engagement, growth) and share weekly summaries.
3. Campaigns & Meta Ads
  • Plan and execute campaigns for term launches, leagues, and tours.
  • Monitor ad performance (CTR, reach, conversions) and adjust for best ROI.
  • Propose creative campaign ideas in line with youth trends and football culture.
4. Content Production & Reporting
  • Edit short videos using Canva, CapCut, or InShot .
  • Maintain an organised content library and weekly posting calendar.
  • Ensure visuals and tone align with Legends’ brand identity.
  • Report weekly on best-performing posts and insights.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Marketing, or Communications .
  • 1–3 years of experience managing social media for a brand.
  • Proficient in Meta Business Suite / Ads Manager .
  • Skilled in Canva, CapCut, or InShot for short-form edits.
  • Strong grasp of Instagram Reels, TikTok trends, and youth-focused storytelling .
  • Excellent written English and communication skills.
  • Passion for football, content creation, and digital storytelling .
  • Willingness to work evenings/weekends for matchday coverage.
