Job Description

We are looking for a Social Media Manager with at least 1 year of experience in social media management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various social media platforms and their use in advertising, branding, and customer engagement. This role involves developing and executing social media strategies to enhance the brand's presence and engage with its audience effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop creative and engaging social media strategies that align with the brand's goals and target audience.

  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms, adapting content to suit different channels.

  • Create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms.

  • Oversee, plan, and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.

  • Form key relationships with influencers across social media platforms.

  • Monitor, track, analyze, and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.

  • Conduct audience research and use it to develop new strategies and insights.

  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.

Skill & Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in social media management.

  • A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising, branding, and customer engagement.

  • Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas.

  • Strong copywriting and editing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to using effective storytelling techniques.

  • Skills in data analysis and interpreting statistics to inform strategy and improve performance.

  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
