Social Media Manager

Social Media Manager with AI Skills / Istanbul / 12 month freelance contract

This is a full-time, dedicated role for an in-house Social Media Manager to actively manage the company's Instagram account. The role requires a versatile "all-six" capability, focusing heavily on social media, AI-centric content creation, and real-time crisis management. The individual must be Istanbul-based and available outside of standard working hours for unexpected social media issues, as the channel is "always on."

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management: Actively manage the day-to-day operations and content on the Turkey Instagram account.

Content Creation: Produce high-quality, AI-centric content for the social media channel, including video editing.

Collaboration Management: Be responsible for managing influencer and creator collaborations, including relationship building and partnership execution.

Community and Crisis Management: Handle community management, proactively identifying and managing potential risks and crisis scenarios, requiring accessibility outside of a standard 9-to-5 schedule.

Stakeholder Partnership: Partner and tailor messaging effectively when collaborating with various stakeholders, including sensitive interactions like those with celebrities.

Core Skills and Experience

Social Media Expertise: Proven experience in managing social media channels, specifically a deep understanding of the company Instagram handle.

AI and Tech Fluency: Fundamental, good understanding of AI tools such as Gemini AI.

Experience using AI tools for production, such as Rio3 and Nano Banana.

Design and Production Tools: Proficiency in using Figma (including templates) and video editing software like CapCut.

Foundational Skills: Relevant years of professional experience in social media management, either in a large agency or tech company.

Start date: 2nd January

Duration: 12 month freelance contract

Location: Istanbul, Türkiye (Required on-site some days a week, to be determined)
