Job Overview
BizFix is looking for a creative and driven Social Media Manager / Business Support Specialist to join our growing team. This is a contract-based opportunity perfect for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a flexible and creative environment.

This position is fully remote. NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED

We’re seeking local talent (ages 18–24 preferred) in Baldwinsville, NY with a passion for digital content creation, social media, and branding. If you're an entrepreneurial-minded person looking to get hands-on experience in tech, business, or marketing with a local tech startup — and you're ready to grow with a company that values innovation and hustle — this could be for you!

  • Create social media content, digital designs, and basic video edits
  • Complete assigned tickets Monday-Friday and get paid upon completion
  • Manage weekly workflow with flexibility
  • Take on additional projects during the week when available
  • Collaborate with leadership and provide creative input
  • Help small businesses implement social media & other technology

Ideal Candidate:

  • Ages 18–24 preferred (local to Baldwinsville, NY)
  • Up to date with online trends & social media
  • Willing to speak on the phone with customers
  • Willing to make cold calls to potential customers
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong time management skills
  • Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
  • Tech, marketing, Windows OS, or business background is a plus
  • Interested in scaling with a company and gaining hands-on experience
  • Experience in social media management or digital marketing roles is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of graphic design principles; proficiency in Canva or Adobe is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and social media strategies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with a knack for storytelling through various digital mediums.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights from social media metrics.
  • Experience in public relations or community engagement is beneficial.
  • STRONG attention to detail, no typos or grammar mistakes in content.
