Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to grow and manage our online presence in the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will understand how to showcase listings, agents, and market insights through engaging social media content that attracts buyers, sellers, and investors.
You’ll be responsible for planning, creating, and executing social media campaigns that build brand awareness, drive qualified leads, and strengthen our reputation as a trusted real estate brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to real estate audiences.
- Create and manage high-quality content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube (including reels, property videos, stories, and carousel posts).
- Highlight property listings, agent success stories, and local community features to attract and retain followers.
- Run and optimize paid social media campaigns to generate buyer and seller leads.
- Collaborate with agents, photographers, and videographers to ensure consistent and professional content.
- Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and inquiries promptly to foster relationships and convert leads.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (engagement, reach, leads, conversions).
- Stay informed on housing market trends, local community events, and competitor activities.
- Manage partnerships with influencers or local businesses for cross-promotional opportunities.
Content Creation & Production
- Conceptualize, script, and produce engaging content including short-form videos, reels, photography, property tours, testimonials, and lifestyle content.
- Capture high-quality images and videos of listings, open houses, agents, and community highlights.
- Write compelling captions, hooks, and headlines tailored to each platform.
- Collaborate with agents, photographers, and videographers to ensure brand consistency.
- Stay current on real estate trends and social media best practices to keep content fresh and relevant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of experience managing social media accounts for a real estate agency or similar industry.
- Proven success growing social media audiences and generating leads.
- Proficiency in social media tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, Canva, CapCut).
- Strong storytelling, photography, and video editing skills.
- Excellent understanding of real estate marketing dynamics (MLS, listings, open houses, etc.).
- Knowledge of paid social media advertising and analytics.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using CRM and lead management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Follow Up Boss, kvCORE).
- Familiarity with SEO and Google Analytics.
- Background in real estate marketing or property photography/videography.
- Understanding of local market trends and community engagement.
