We’re Hiring: Social Media Manager & Content Creator Intern

Job Summary

Our tech startup is nearing launch and we’re looking for a creative, trend-savvy Social Media Manager & Content Creator Intern to elevate our brand presence and help us grow across digital platforms.

We partner with the hospitality industry and we need someone who knows how to turn vibes, events, and culture into scroll-stopping content.

This role involves developing engaging content, managing social media channels, and implementing marketing strategies to boost audience engagement and brand awareness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of social media marketing, content creation, and digital analytics, with the ability to craft compelling visuals and messages that resonate with target audiences.

Job Duties (What you’ll do):

  • Create engaging content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Create multimedia content including graphics, videos, photography, and written posts.
  • Manage social media activities, posting, and community engagement.
  • Identify trending topics and audience preferences.
  • Analyze web analytics and social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.
  • Implement advertising campaigns to increase reach and conversions for promotional initiatives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies & coordinate with our team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.

Experience (what we’re looking for):

  • Experience in social media management or digital marketing roles is a plus.
  • A portfolio of previous campaigns is a plus.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Experience with social media management tools including Hootsuite and Buffer is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, Google Analytics, web analytics, keyword research, and social listening tools.
  • Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media advertising platforms.
  • Skills in video editing and photography are desirable to enhance multimedia content creation.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles, public relations strategies, and relationship management within digital spaces. (Highly Recommended)
