Social Media Manager and Content Creator

Boichik Bagels is looking for a social media content creator + manager who lives and breathes the internet — and comes prepared to execute at a high level. This role is for someone who doesn’t just use TikTok and Instagram — you understand them, you predict trends, and you know how to turn everyday moments into content people actually want to watch.

We’re a fast-growing bagel brand with a strong voice and loyal following. Now we want to level up our content, storytelling, and overall brand presence.

What You’ll Do

• Create original, engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms
• Shoot, edit, and produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories)
• Own the full content cycle: idea → filming → editing → posting
• Manage day-to-day social media activity
• Engage with our audience (comments, DMs, trends, community interaction)
• Maintain and evolve Boichik’s brand voice across all platforms
• Stay ahead of trends and proactively pitch content ideas
• Help grow brand awareness and tell the story of Boichik in a way that feels fresh, fun, and authentic

• You know TikTok and Instagram culture inside and out
• You can spot a trend before it blows up
• You understand how to make content that performs (hooks, pacing, storytelling)
• You know how to work with the algorithm, not against it
• You’re creative, fast-moving, and not afraid to experiment
• You have a strong sense of humor and know how to make content that’s engaging, educational, and fun
• You care about brand voice and consistency
• You are organized, reliable, and come prepared to shoot at all times

Requirements (Must-Have)

• Prior experience in a social media content creator/manager role
• Strong photography and videography skills, with a portfolio to match
• Experience shooting and creating content within the food & beverage space (preferred candidates will have this)
• Must own and bring your own equipment (camera, lighting, audio, etc.)
• Highly organized and prepared for shoots without needing hand-holding
• Proficient in video editing (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)
• Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram best practices and performance
