Social Media Manager & Content Creator (Part-Time)

Pay: $20.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
Hours: 25–35 hours per week
Location: On-site with local travel to company locations and events as needed

About the Role

We're looking for a creative, energetic, and self-motivated Social Media Manager & Content Creator to help tell our story across multiple brands. This position is ideal for someone who loves creating engaging content, has a strong eye for photography and video, and understands how to turn everyday moments into compelling social media content.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire content process—from planning and capturing content to editing, posting, and tracking performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly social media content calendars
• Generate creative content ideas and campaign concepts
• Capture high-quality photos and videos at our businesses and events
• Edit and produce engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
• Schedule and publish social media content
• Create Facebook Events and manage event promotion
• Develop and manage Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns
• Design graphics, promotional materials, and social media assets
• Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages when appropriate
• Stay up to date on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
• Collaborate with management to promote upcoming events, specials, and initiatives

Requirements

• Experience creating content for social media platforms
• Strong photography and videography skills
• Proficiency with video editing software and content creation tools
• Graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager and social media analytics
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Reliable transportation

Schedule Requirements

This role requires flexibility to capture content during events, which often take place in the evenings and on weekends. While the schedule is generally flexible, candidates should expect regular evening and weekend availability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple social media accounts or brands
• Portfolio showcasing photography, videography, graphic design, and social media work
• Experience in hospitality, restaurants, tourism, entertainment, or events
