Are you passionate about crafting compelling stories, capturing real moments, and engaging audiences through social media?

We are seeking an energetic, creative, and detail-oriented Social Media Manager to lead our day-to-day social media activity in a full-time, in-person role at our Agoura Hills office.

In this position, you will capture content, post across platforms, coordinate shoots, and help turn project milestones, job site activity, client moments, and behind-the-scenes updates into engaging social media content. The ideal candidate understands short-form content, has a strong eye for photo/video, and can help grow our brand presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing ideas to life through content, storytelling, and consistent execution.

Core Responsibilities

  • Capture daily photo and video content using an iPhone or similar mobile device
  • Post and manage content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms
  • Create and support short-form content such as Reels, TikToks, Shorts, stories, and behind-the-scenes updates
  • Develop and help execute social media strategies that support brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation
  • Coordinate shoots with our internal media team and two photographers
  • Attend job sites, showroom moments, client-facing events, deliveries, installations, and company activities to capture content
  • Help plan content around project milestones, home tours, testimonials, design updates, construction progress, and team moments
  • Write captions, post copy, hashtags, and basic campaign messaging aligned with brand voice
  • Monitor comments, messages, reviews, engagement, and daily platform activity
  • Engage with followers in a professional and brand-aligned manner
  • Organize raw content, photos, videos, project files, and social media assets
  • Collaborate with leadership, marketing, PR, design, and media teams to keep messaging consistent
  • Track content ideas, upcoming shoots, posting needs, and campaign priorities
  • Review basic analytics and performance trends to understand what content is working
  • Stay aware of social media trends and suggest ideas that fit THE HOME GALLERY brand
  • Support the video editor by capturing usable footage and sharing organized files

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand, business, creator, or organization
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
  • Comfortable capturing clean, engaging photo and video content primarily using an iPhone
  • Ability to create high-quality multimedia content, including photography, short-form videos, captions, and written posts
  • Good eye for framing, lighting, composition, pacing, and short-form storytelling
  • Ability to write clear, polished captions and social media copy
  • Strong attention to detail, proofreading ability, and consistency with brand voice
  • Organized, responsive, and able to manage daily posting activity and multiple content priorities
  • Comfortable coordinating with photographers, editors, leadership, field teams, and marketing/PR support
  • Ability to work in person from our Agoura Hills office
  • Willingness to travel locally to job sites or project locations as needed
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with real estate, architecture, construction, home design, lifestyle, or luxury brand content
  • Basic editing experience in CapCut, Instagram, TikTok, Canva, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite or Meta Business Suite
  • Basic understanding of paid social media campaigns, Facebook/Instagram ads, or boosted posts
  • Understanding of social media analytics, audience insights, and performance trends
  • Experience with content calendars, photoshoot coordination, or campaign planning
  • Familiarity with SEO, keywords, web analytics, or digital marketing strategy
  • Experience using AI tools for captions, content planning, post ideas, or campaign support

Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST

Compensation
$65,000/year
