Position Overview

This role is part of our marketing team. You will collaborate closely with the Content Production Manager while working under the leadership of the Marketing Manager. The focus of this role is on sharing, curating, and amplifying content rather than creating original content in the field. You will manage and optimize social media and digital marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and maintaining a consistent voice across all platforms. This position also includes supporting events, email campaigns, blogs, analytics, and trend monitoring.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand objectives, ensuring consistent messaging across all social media platforms.
  • Curate, schedule, and share engaging content across social media platforms like: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Houzz, Reddit, Pinterest and Lemon8.
  • Collaborate with the Content Production Manager to align weekly and monthly content plans.
  • Monitor social media channels, optimize campaigns in real time, and provide regular updates to the Marketing Manager on analytics, performance metrics, and KPIs.
  • Gather insights on audience preferences, industry trends, and competitor activities to inform content planning.
  • Engage actively with followers by responding to comments, messages, and reviews while maintaining a positive and consistent brand voice.
  • Support local marketing events such as remodeling shows, booths, and community initiatives.
  • Create and distribute email newsletters and assist with blog content.
  • Assist with general marketing tasks that support the company’s growth and visibility.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations; familiarity with social media management tools.
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Experience with Canva, HubSpot or other similar tools.
  • Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and other platform trends, analytics, and engagement strategies.
  • Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing trends, branding strategies, and web analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain brand consistency.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional site visits or events.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to embrace Marcus Sheridan’s “They Ask, You Answer” principles and serve as an internal advocate.
