Social Media & Marketing Coordinator

Overview

We’re looking for a creative, energetic, and trend-aware individual to help manage the social media presence and marketing efforts for two of Panama City Beach’s most recognizable restaurant brands: Pineapple Willy’s and The Wicked Wheel.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, interacting with people, staying on top of social media trends, and helping brands grow online through creativity and consistency.

You’ll assist with content creation, social media management, guest engagement, promotions, and general marketing support while helping showcase the atmosphere, food, drinks, events, and personality of our restaurants.

Responsibilities

● Create photo and video content for:

● Instagram

● Facebook

● TikTok

● Reels & Stories

● Assist with managing and scheduling social media content

● Engage with followers through comments, messages, and online interaction

● Capture daily restaurant atmosphere, food, drinks, live music, beach scenes, and guest experiences

● Help brainstorm creative campaigns, promotions, contests, and social media ideas

● Assist with marketing projects, events, and promotional initiatives

● Work alongside management to maintain each brand’s voice and image

● Help monitor social media trends and viral content opportunities

● Occasionally assist during events and community outreach efforts

Qualifications

● Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and current social media trends

● Comfortable creating and editing content on iPhone and/or camera

● Experience with apps such as:

● CapCut

● Canva

● Adobe Creative Suite (a plus)

● Creative personality with strong communication skills

● Reliable, organized, and self-motivated

● Comfortable working in fast-paced restaurant environments

● Some evening and weekend availability preferred

Bonus Skills

● Photography

● Graphic design

● Copywriting/caption writing

● Video editing

● Experience growing social media accounts organically

● Hospitality or tourism experience
