Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and tech-savvy Social Media Marketing Intern to join our marketing team. The role involves building engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, promoting our automation products, and helping grow our digital community.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule social media posts, stories, and reels across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
• Brainstorm creative ideas for product promotions, campaigns, and festive offers.
• Work with the design team (or AI tools) to create visually appealing creatives and videos.
• Engage with followers, reply to DMs/comments, and build brand presence.
• Analyze post performance and suggest improvements using insights and analytics.
• Assist in influencer collaborations and local marketing campaigns.
• Help in promoting Techomie’s upcoming events and product launches (e.g., Build Expo, Experience Centre, etc.).
• Stay updated on social media trends, hashtags, and new content formats.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube marketing.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or similar design/video tools.
• Strong creative thinking and storytelling ability.
• Interest in smart home, IoT, or tech products (bonus).
• Good communication skills (Tamil & English preferred).
• Enthusiasm to learn and experiment with new ideas.
