Social Media Marketing Intern

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media, possess strong communication skills, and have a keen interest in branding and e-commerce. Most of the work can be done remotely. The candidate must be able to come to the location in Stafford, Texas at least 2 times a month to take pictures and videos to market at their own schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing social media marketing strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Create engaging content for social media posts that align with our brand voice and marketing goals.
• Conduct keyword research and optimize content for SEO to enhance online visibility.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, audience engagement, and brand mentions using tools like Hootsuite and Buffer.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Analyze web analytics using Google Analytics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and suggest improvements.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and marketing initiatives.
• Proofread all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Assist in video editing for promotional materials or social media campaigns.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with social media marketing principles and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of SEO techniques and digital marketing strategies.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is preferred; experience with graphic design is a plus.
• Experience with social listening tools and relationship management is desirable.
• Understanding of e-commerce platforms and branding strategies is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
