Social Media Marketing Manager

Yoju is a young and fast growing alcoholic beverage brand that is bringing Asian spirits and culture to the beverage world. Our products are sold at places like Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and Costco, and we’ve been featured at concerts like Blackpink and Illenium. If you know how to making engaging content, we want to talk to you.


What you'll do:

  • Create highly engaging and entertaining short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram.
  • Own end-to-end production from research to ideation to scripting to shooting to editing.
  • Act as an on-screen personality for Yoju. Along with our founders, you’ll be a part of the team that is the “face of the brand” on socials.
  • Collaborate with creators, influencers, our own designers, and other brands.
  • Analyze content performance across platforms to understand what’s working and what’s not.
  • Engage with our online community and create a beloved voice for the brand.
  • Occasional travel across the US to shoot content as we launch new markets and help support large events we take part in.


What we're looking for:

  • You're comfortable with a high level of ownership and autonomy.
  • You have expertise in creating engaging short-form video content, e.g. on TikTok, IG Reels.
  • A strong understanding of factors that drive engagement and watch-through time.
  • A strong understanding of internet culture, pop culture, and tastemakers.
  • You can get things done with minimal guidance.
  • Strong organizational abilities - you’ll be managing content schedules across multiple social media channels and managing dozens of creator contacts.
  • Must be fluent with video editing tools.
