Social Media Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Expert Intern to join our team at Athenian Salon and Academy. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing digital marketing activities, supporting brand growth, and building an online presence for a renowned salon and academy.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include:

• Content Creation:
• Develop engaging and visually appealing content (images, videos, posts) for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
• Collaborate with the team to highlight the best aspects of our salon and academy services.
• Social Media Management:
• Manage and grow our social media presence by posting content regularly, engaging with followers, and responding to comments/messages promptly.
• Schedule posts and stories to ensure a consistent social media presence.
• Digital Marketing Support:
• Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
• Monitor and report on ad performance using tools like Facebook Ads Manager.
• Analytics and Reporting:
• Track and analyze key metrics (likes, engagement, reach, followers) to measure the success of social media strategies.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on performance data to optimize content and campaigns.
• Research and Strategy:
• Conduct research on trends, competitors, and audience preferences to enhance content and strategies.
• Brainstorm and propose creative ideas to increase brand visibility and engagement.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Work closely with our marketing, creative, and operations teams to ensure alignment with the brand’s voice and goals.
• Participate in regular meetings to discuss campaign progress and opportunities.
• Skill Development:
• Gain hands-on experience in various aspects of digital marketing and social media.
• Enhance skills in using tools like Canva, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and more.

Requirements:

• Passion for social media and digital marketing.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Creative thinking and a strong eye for design.
• Basic knowledge of analytics tools and reporting.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A keen interest in beauty, fashion, and wellness is a plus.
