Social Media Officer

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and publish high-quality, engaging content, including text, images, and videos, tailored to different social media platforms.
• Schedule posts using a content calendar to ensure a consistent and regular output of content.
• Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond to users in a timely and brand-appropriate manner to foster engagement.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) using analytics tools, analyze data to identify what is working well, and provide reports on campaign performance.
• Work with other departments, such as marketing and design, to ensure social media activities align with broader marketing campaigns and brand messaging.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to ensure content is relevant and effective.
• Monitor competitor social media activity and provide analysis to help inform strategy.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience of social media marketing.
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
• Adequate knowledge of Canva and Filmora.
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Fluency in English
• BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
