Role Overview

We’re seeking a Social Media Specialist to take ownership of IC Markets’ organic social presence across all platforms. This role is hands-on and strategy-driven, ideal for someone who can plan, execute, and optimise social content while collaborating with agencies, internal teams, and creatives.

You’ll manage day-to-day organic posting, ensure brand consistency, and bring fresh ideas to grow reach, engagement, and community impact.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain organic content calendars aligned with campaigns, product launches, and events.
• Generate creative content ideas to strengthen brand presence and audience engagement.
• Work with agencies or internal teams to ensure creative alignment and consistent delivery.
• Coordinate and manage organic posts across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube.
• Write engaging post copy and collaborate with designers or multimedia teams to create visual assets.
• Adapt content formats based on platform best practices and audience behaviours.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and audience interactions where needed.
• Build a positive brand voice and foster community growth.
• Spot opportunities for engagement within industry-relevant conversations and trends.
• Track and analyse organic performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Stay updated on platform trends, algorithm updates, and social innovations.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience managing organic social media for a brand or agency.
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate content ideas and engage audiences.
• Comfortable working with agencies and internal teams to deliver consistent, high-quality campaigns.
• Experience using scheduling and analytics tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later).
• Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills with attention to brand tone and audience needs.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset and a passion for social-first strategies.
