Siu Digital is a content-driven digital agency with over 40 employees, also operating as a startup factory developing innovative software products. We are seeking a Social Media Specialist with strong operational capabilities to join our team.

This role is essential in ensuring the smooth execution of social media strategies, requiring a balance of creativity and meticulous operational management.

This position is based in Ankara – candidates must already reside in or near the area.

As a Social Media Specialist You Will

• Understand the target audience of the brands and write content that resonates with them
• Implement existing social media strategies effectively and creatively
• Research viral formats, benchmarks, and trends, adapting them to brand voice and strategy
• Plan, manage, and maintain content calendars, primarily for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X , Facebook, and YouTube
• Moderate channels: engage with audiences and manage community interactions
• Use tools such as Hootsuite, Emplifi, Meta Business Suite (or similar) to schedule, monitor, and analyze content
• Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights for optimization
• Moderate comments and DM on SM accounts regularly
• Work directly with brand representatives to understand expectations and adjust plans when needed
• Demonstrate knowledge of crisis management principles
• Collaborate closely with our design and production teams; teamwork is key

Key Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in social media operations, preferably in a fast-paced agency environment
• Excellent English reading and writing skills: ability to adapt brand tone of voice and write polished copy
• Strong organizational skills: able to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with social media channels, algorithms, engagement tactics, and content best practices
• Proficiency in tools such as Hootsuite, Emplifi, Meta Business Suite (or similar)
• Strong communication skills to work directly with clients and internal teams
• Team player mindset: ability to work effectively in a large, collaborative team
• (Preferred but not required) Knowledge of visual content production is a plus
