Our client, an advertising agency, is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join their team in St Louis, Missouri.
Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:

Content Planning & Strategy

Manage day-to-day execution of social media activity across platforms.

Build and maintain a content calendar in partnership with the marketing team.

Propose new ideas, formats, and approaches to keep content fresh and engaging.

Content Creation
-
Produce and publish content including short-form videos, stories, and posts.
-
Collaborate with designers or creative partners to source visual assets.
-
Write compelling, on-brand copy.
-
Help coordinate photoshoots and ad hoc content requests.

Influencer & Partner Support
-
Assist with influencer and ambassador activations.
-
Support campaign coordination with external partners as needed.
-
Community Engagement
-
Monitor social channels for engagement, feedback, and opportunities to connect with audiences.

Respond to or escalate customer questions and concerns appropriately.

Re-share and amplify relevant partner or community content.
Social Media Specialist Qualifications:
-
3-5 years’ experience in social media management
-
Experience having worked in the agency space, CPG, Fashion, or beauty space!

Creative thinker with strong storytelling instincts and an eye for trends.

Expert knowledge of social platforms and asset requirements
-
Ability to work onsite in St Louis, MO
