Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with overall company goals. This involves competitive research, identifying target audiences, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and creating detailed editorial/content calendars.
- Content Creation & Publishing: Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging daily content, including original text, images, and video, tailored to each specific platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, NextDoor, etc.). Often requiring proficiency in design and video editing software like Canva Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or CapCut.
- Community Management: Monitor social media channels, moderate user-generated content, and interact with followers through comments, messages, and proactive engagement to build meaningful connections and a positive brand presence.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze performance metrics and insights (traffic, demographics, engagement rates, ROI) using analytical tools like Google Analytics or Sprout Social. Use this data to optimize content performance and refine future strategies.
- Collaboration & Trend Monitoring: Work closely with internal marketing and creative teams to ensure cohesive campaigns. Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform changes, and best practices to keep the brand relevant and identify new opportunities.
- Influencer Management: Assist in managing influencer programs and support the execution and optimization of social media campaigns to reach new audiences and drive specific results.
Experience & Qualifications/Minimum Qualifications :
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a Social Media, Marketing, or Communications role preferably in Healthcare or Dental, but not required.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their business applications.
- Experience with social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Sprout Social).
- Proficiency in content creation and editing software.
- Understanding of SEO principles and web traffic metrics is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects.
- Valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
Work Environment:
- This is a remote position with minimal out-of-state travel that may be required for meetings, planning sessions, or company events and is expected to be less than 5%.
- Environment offers flexibility while requiring strong self-direction, collaboration, and accountability.
- This individual is expected to maintain a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
- Regular interaction with Marketing team and stake holders via phone, email, and virtual communication tools.
