Social Media Specialist - Reels & TikTok Videos

About the brand

Carl's Car Shine is a direct-to-consumer car detailing products brand built by a lifelong car enthusiast. We sell premium detailing kits, sprays, and accessories at carlscarshine.com. Our content is raw, real, and automotive-obsessed — we're building a community, not a catalog. This is a growing brand with a great story behind it, and we need a creator who wants to grow with us.

What you'll do

• Film and edit 20 short-form videos per month for TikTok and Instagram Reels
• Collaborate with the founder on content ideas, hooks, and on-screen concepts — you'll get o give creative direction, not just a list of tasks
• Handle all editing in-house — cuts, captions, music/sound, and platform-native formatting (9:16, correct aspect ratios)
• Stay current on TikTok/Reels trends, sounds, and formats — and bring those insights to the content strategy
• Deliver content on a consistent schedule with turnaround times agreed upon at the start of each month

What we're looking for

• Proven ability to film and edit short-form content — portfolio or active social account required
• Comfortable on camera
• Skilled at directing someone else on screen if the founder
• Own your filming and editing setup — phone, camera, lighting, editing software (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci, etc.)
• Genuine interest in cars, automotive culture, or the DTC/lifestyle brand space — passion shows on screen
• Reliable, communicative, and able to meet deadlines without hand-holding
• Experience with product-based or e-commerce brands is a plus, not a requirement
• Someone invloved in the Arizona Car Scene

Content style & tone

Think talking-to-camera, day-in-the-life, product demos, and behind-the-scenes — authentic over polished. We want viewers to feel like they're hanging out with someone who actually cares about their car, not watching an ad. Hook-driven, quick-cut, and built for scroll-stopping performance on TikTok and Reels.
