Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Community Engagement and Social Media Strategist to elevate our brand presence across digital platforms. This role involves developing compelling and unique content, managing social media channels, and fostering meaningful relationships with our community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, social listening, and analytics to drive engagement and growth. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn to increase engagement and brand awareness.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content including graphics, videos, and photography.
- Monitor social listening tools to track brand mentions, industry trends, and community feedback to inform content strategy.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns to target specific audiences effectively.
- Utilize SEO best practices and keyword research to optimize content for search engines and improve online visibility.
- Analyze web analytics and social media metrics using Google Analytics, Web Analytics tools, and Buffer or Hootsuite dashboards to measure campaign performance.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and reviews promptly to foster positive relationships.
- Coordinate public relations activities that promote community involvement and enhance the organization’s reputation.
- Proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency before publication.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing, social media management tools, and industry best practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in social media marketing or digital marketing roles with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such for content creation.
- Experience managing social media platforms using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer for scheduling and analytics.
- Knowledge of SEO techniques, keyword research, web analytics (Google Analytics), and social listening tools.
- Strong understanding of branding principles and public relations strategies.
- Ability to develop engaging multimedia content including photography and video editing skills.
- Familiarity with Advertising campaigns and e-commerce integration is a plus.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in all written communications.
- Prior experience in community engagement or relationship management roles is highly desirable. Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
